Ida Mae Morris of Cahokia, Illinois, formerly of East St. Louis, Illinois, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Atrium Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cahokia, Illinois, having attained the age of 98 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Born on October 4, 1914 in Montrose, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Leon and Viola Marie Morris, nee Harding. Mrs. Morris was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in East St. Louis, Illinois; the Eastern Star; Household Ruth and Mount Zion Seniors Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are her daughter, Gloria Green of East St. Louis, Illinois; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Duncan of Camdentown, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Rhonda Benjamin of East St. Louis, Illinois, Joel Anderson; great-great-grandchildren, DeMonte Benjamin of East St. Louis Illinois and Tequera Anderson of Belleville, Illinois; cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 11:00 A.M to 12:30 P.M. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens of Memory in Millstadt, Illinois.
