Howard Richard Bullock of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He had attained the age of 78 years, 6 months and 14 days.

Born on Southgate, California on September 17, 1930, he was the son of the late Howard and Rowena (Losser) Heber.

He was a research scientist with the United States Department of Agriculture and was a veteran of United States Army.

Preceding him in death besides his parents is a sister, Shirley Karns.

Survivors include his children, Pamela Schlieter of El Paso, Texas, Jeanette (Jason) Lee of Des Moines, Iowa, Aaron (Jennifer) Bullock of Golden Eagle, Illinois, Abel Bullock of University City, Missouri, Adam Bullock of Ballwin, Missouri, Allyson (Chris) Musca of Webster Groves, Missouri and Alan Bullock of Ballwin, Missouri; one brother, Grant (Wil) Bullock of Florida and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.

Southern Funeral Home in St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
