Hattie Bernice 'Bonnie' Arvans


Hattie Bernice 'Bonnie' Arvans of Swansea, Illinois passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, Illinois having attained the age of 92 years, 7 months and 7 days.

Born in Halls, Tennessee on November 27, 1921, she was the daughter of Monroe and Hester Ferrell, nee Martin. She was united in marriage to George Arvans on October 20, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri and he survives her passing.
Mrs. Arvans was a nurse and a member of Westview Baptist Church in Belleville, Illinois.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three children, Billy Rea, Jackie Rea and JoAnn Smith and seven brothers and sisters.

Surviving besides her husband, George Arvans are her grandchildren, Donovan Gray of Swansea, Illinois, Steve, Kelly, Dolly, Nickie and Tammy; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
