Gail Ollivette Fetterer of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at her home, having attained the age of 75 years, 6 months and 3 days.
Born in East St. Louis, Illinois on September 25, 1940, she was the daughter of Harry and Bernice Cooper, nee Schmoski. She was united in marriage to Lawrence William Fetterer on April 29, 1961 and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2007.
Gail was a homemaker and a member of Edgemont Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence William Fetterer; her brothers, George Cooper and James Cooper and her sister, Helen Nishwitz.
Surviving are her children, Lawrence Fetterer, Kathleen (Mark) White and Angela (Steve) Williams all of Belleville; her sisters, Lavelle King of Collinsville, Illinois, Jacqueline (Jim) Hazard of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeanette (John) Golden of Decatur, Illinois and Patricia Barnett of St. Charles, Missouri; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Delaney officiating.
All other services will be private.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
