Emily Ann Feazel

Emily Ann Feazel, 46, of Millstadt, IL, passed away at her home on Thursday February 2, 2023. Emily was born on October 7, 1976, in Belleville, IL to Danny and Donna Carril, nee Murphy, her father precedes her in death. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Gary Feazel, her maternal grandparents George and Ruth Murphy, her paternal grandparents John and Betty Carril and her grandparents-in-law Charles and Lillian Braun.

Emily graduated from Belleville West High School and furthered her education at Belleville Area College, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. For the past 20 years, she was devoted to working with children of all ages affected by autism. Emily dearly loved all those whom she worked with. She married her husband, Jason on March 3, 2007, and began her family. Emily was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was the number one sports fan for her children’s sports. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 15 years Jason Feazel; her children Maddy Feazel and Max Feazel; her mother Donna Fischer and her step-father Scott Fischer, her mother-in-law Barb Feazel, her sister Sandy (Mark) Howell, her brother Scott (Brittany Pritchard) Carril, her half-sisters Danielle Gingles and Meghan Carril, her step-brothers Jay (Tasha) Fischer and Jason (Erin) Fischer; brother-in-law Chad (Sarah) Feazel, her grandparents-in-law Richard and Dorothy Feazel, in addition to many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2023, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Hoffen Funeral Home, 220 W. Washington St., Millstadt, IL. Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 7:00pm with Msgr. Marvin Volk, celebrant. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jason Feazel for the education fund for Maddy and Max.
