Elsie Gilbertetta Croy, 88, of Belleville, Illinois departed this life on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Elsie was born in Painton, Missouri on September 16, 1924, the daughter of Gilbert and Dena Croy, nee Sander. She married Charles L. Croy in Piggott, Arkansas on December 14, 1944.

Elsie was a full-time wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Collinsville, Illinois.

Besides her parents and her husband, Elsie was preceded in death by a son, Charles 'Joe' Croy; brothers and sisters, Lloyd Hart, Idella Hart, and Rosemary Hart; son-in-law, David Weber, and cousin, Michael Hart.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Weber, Belleville, IL; a daughter-in-law, Debbie (Kent) Croy-Mennemeyer, Caseyville, IL; grandchildren, Rachel Croy-Moore, Collinsville, IL and Aaron (Danielle) Croy, Woodriver, IL; great-grandchildren Tristan Croy, Livingston, IL., and Anna Croy, Woodriver, IL; sister-in-law Esther Hart, Alberqerque, NM; 'special niece and nephew, Linda and Rick Lopez; many other nieces nephews, cousins and many friends.
