Ellamay J. Rall, 97 of Webster Groves, MO passed away on Monday September 6, 2021 in St. Louis, MO. She was born on October 27, 1923 to Valentine and Mamie Rall, nee Birkenbach, and they preceded her in death. Ellamay was also preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Rall, her sister-in-law, Anna Kuturovac Rall, and her niece, Donna Rall Ellebrecht.

Ellamay attended Shepherd grade school, Roosevelt High School, and Hadley Vocational School. She retired in 1986 from Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis after working for them for 45 years. She volunteered with the American Red Cross for 20 years after retirement, served with Meals on Wheels, and was a member of Kappa Phi Sorority for 35 years. She was a woman of great faith, a charter member of Hope United Church of Christ since 1944, where she was active in several ministries and a member of the choir. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her nephew, David (Mae) Rall of Woodbine, IA, her nephew-in-law Alan (and the late Donna) Ellebrecht of Overland Park, KS, her niece, Patti (Bill) Van Alstine of Lafayette, IN, in addition to 9 great nieces and nephews, 21 great-great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Laclede Groves Chapel, 723 S. Laclede Station Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with the Reverend Sarah McCaan officiating. Internment will take place at St. Paul’s Churchyard in St. Louis, MO.
