Eleanora Kinzinger



Eleanora Kinzinger, 83, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at Canterbury Manor Nursing Center in Waterloo.
She was born on March 2, 1925 in Columbia, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Elsie (Lepp) Kinzinger. Prior to moving to Canterbury Manor Nursing Center, Eleanora lived in assisted living in New Baden and attended the Clinton County Rehabilitation Center Workshop.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were two sisters, Dorothy Kinzinger and Florence Kinzinger.
Surviving her passing are her brother, Fred (Fern) Kinzinger of Columbia and her sister, Rosemary Kinzinger of Waterloo.
The family wishes a special thank you to Dr. Amy Rohlfing, the staff at Canterbury Manor Nursing Center and Hospice of Southern Illinois for their loving care. The family also requests that memorials be made to Canterbury Manor Activity Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Creason Funeral Home, 220 West Washington Street, Millstadt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt.
