Eleanora Fay Stearns

Eleanora Fay Stearns of Oakdale, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her home, having attained the age of 77 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Born on October 19, 1938, she was the daughter of Milton and Bessie Cross, nee Spinnie. She was united in marriage to Emil "Leo" Stearns on July 5, 1956 in Corinth, Mississippi and he survives her passing.
Mrs. Stearns was a retail clerk and member of the Catholic faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Milton ODell.
Surviving are her husband, Emil "Leo" Stearns of Oakdale, Illinois; her children, Michael (Kay) Stearns and David Stearns, both of Oakdale, Illinois; her sisters, Nellie of Marion, Illinois, Gertrude of Ohio and Joyce of Irvington, Illinois; her grandchildren, Levi (Annie) Stearns, Dusty (Tom) Dickinson, Latoya (Billy) Jablonski, Nicki (Jason) Hite, Zach Stearns and Erin Stearns; her great-grandchildren, Olive Dickinson, Leo Dickinson and and Liam Stearns, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Oakdale, Illinois.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
