Elaine N. Schmidt



Elaine N. Schmidt of St. Louis passed away at St. Marys Hospital in Clayton on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the age of 73 years.

Born on August 18, 1934 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of George and Gertrude G. (Grafford) Etling and they preceded her in death. She married Kenneth N. Schmidt on March 14, 1952 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2002.
Mrs. Schmidt was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth L. Schmidt of Eureka, Missouri, Georgia L. (Carrie) Arrow of Portland, Oregon, Kurtis John (Cindy) Schmidt of Arnold, Missouri, Tracee (Dave) deNeui of Plymouth, Minnesota and Eric (Erica) Schmidt of Hazelwood, Missouri, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a special sister-in-law and many friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Lukes Lutheran Church with Rev. David Dittmar officiating.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home, 6322 South Grand Boulevard. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home.
