Edna Helen Wright of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at St. Anthonys Hospital in Alton, Illinois, having reached the age of 93 years, 1 month and 19 days.

Born in Charlton, Iowa on December 4, 1917, she was the daughter of Joseph Harley and Maggie, nee Grant, Barker.

She was a cook in the health care field.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Marjorie Cowan and Ardith Voisey; three brothers, Bernard Barker, James Barker and Charles Barker; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors include her children, Glenda Mayer of Valdosta, Georgia, Kenneth Ray (Mary) Wright of Florida, Dennis (Beverly) Wright of Battleground, Washington, Dianna Sutton of Godfrey, Illinois, Richard (Susan) Wright of Newburgh, Oregon and Michael (Sheila) Wright of St. Louis, Missouri; her brother, John Barker of California; her sisters, Beverly (Elmo) Cambrizi of Joliet, Illinois and ethel Steel of Des Moines, Iowa; her brother-in-law, Al Voisey of Sullivan, Missouri, 31 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt,, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
