Earl Phillip Mueller

Earl Phillip Mueller, of Millstadt, Illinois, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Born in Millstadt, Illinois, on May 16, 1926, Earl had attained the age of 91 years, 5 months and 27 days.
Mr. Mueller was a United States Army veteran and had served in the Korean War. After being discharged from the Army he worked in landscaping and at a nursery. He met and married the love of his life, Clara Jean Rinck at St. Teresas in East St. Louis, Illinois on July 29, 1950.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Jean Rinck; his caring parents, Erwin and Frieda (nee Scharf) Mueller; a beautiful daughter, Kathrin Mueller; two brothers, Floyd and Edgar Mueller; and one beautiful grandchild, Rejon Lee Mueller.
Surviving Earl are his two loving children, Earl Lee Mueller of Cahokia, Illinois, and Sue Mueller of Cahokia, Illinois; two brothers, Melvin (Elizabeth) Mueller of Millstadt, Illinois, and Ralph (Helen) Mueller of Port Orange, Florida; one sister, Florine Law of Goodyear, Arizona; along with many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
All services will be private.
Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
