Dorothy Mae Krause

Dorothy Mae Krause of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Joliet, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Laclede Groves Retirement Center in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 94 years, 6 months and 20 days.
Born in Joliet, Illinois on May 6, 1922, she was the daughter of Arthur and Esther Roettger, nee Krueger. She was united in marriage to Carl Krause on May 1, 1949 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Joliet, Illinois and he survives her passing.
Mrs. Krause was a housewife.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter, Janice Meredith.
Surviving are her husband, Carl Krause; her children, Bonnie Hesse of Arnold, Missouri, Nancy Koken of Irvine, California and Ron Krause, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska and her grandchildren, Matthew Koken of San Diego, California, Rachel Meredith of Lincoln, Nebraska and Robert Meredith of Omaha, Nebraska.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Joliet, Illinois.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Laclede Groves Retirement Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Laclede Groves Retirement Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Interment will be on Saturday, December 2, 2016 at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois.
The Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Joliet, Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Local arrangements are being handled by the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois.
