Donna Marie Harvey

Donna Marie Harvey, 72 of New Athens, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday May 29, 2019. Born on January 21, 1947 in Mt. Healthy, Ohio she was the daughter of Charles R. Harvey, Jr. and Lorene Harvey, nee Peters.



Left to cherish her memory are her children: Yvonne (Richard) Hopper of Rolla, Missouri, Julie (James) Keelin of High Ridge, Missouri, Robert (Cheryl) Barger of Arnold, Missouri, Vincie Ray Barger of Florida, Melissa Hodges of Venedy, Illinois and Tracy McGuire of Red Bud, Illinois. A sister, Diana Harvey of Oklahoma, seventeen grandchildren, nearly thirty great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.



Donna spent her working years caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of New Athens and enjoyed her church family very much. Donna will be deeply missed by her friends and family.



A memorial visitation will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 from 12:00pm-2:30pm at Creason Funeral Home, 220 W. Washington Street, Millstadt, Illinois. A memorial service will follow, starting at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
