Deborah Hays of Hecker, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at her home having reached the age of 56 years, 8 months and 26 days.

Born on July 20, 1957 in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Pauline Tatum, nee Hoffman. She was united in marriage to David Kodelya on December 17, 2004 in St. Charles, Missouri and he survives her passing.

Deborah was a stock broker and a member of the Harbor Point Yacht Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Ronald Tatum.

Surviving are her children, Daniel Hays of St. Charles Count, Missouri, Jason (Shanda) Hays of Hecker, Illinois and Douglas Hays of St. Charles County, Missouri; her sisters, Jane (Howard) Wheatley of Carbondale, Illinois and Mary Ann Stephens of Chester, Illinois; four grandchildren, Sean hays of Columbia, Missouri, dillon Hays, Rain Hays and Brecka Hays all of Hecker, Illinois, nieces, nephews, cousins; her best friend, Lark Alberts of Millstadt, Illinois and many other friends.

All services will be private.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
