Clyde C. Krausz of rural Waterloo, Illinois passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Jefferson Barracks Veteran's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 83 years, 6 months and 13 days.

Born in Mascoutah, Illinois on June 27, 1932, he was the son of Clyde R. and Rose Krausz, nee Wesselmann. He was united in marriage to Celeste D. Boad on January 19, 1952 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in East St. Louis, Illinois and she survives his passing.

Mr. Krausz was a livestock agent for the National Stockyards and farmer, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Paderborn, Illinois, the Men's Club of St. Michael's, Knights of Columbus Council #4741, Catholic War Veteran's Post #0370, Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #7980, Moose Lodge # 1221, the St. Clair County Farm Bureau and a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother, Donald E. Krausz, and his sister and brother-in-law, Elsie (Ralph) Press.

Surviving besides his wife, Celeste are his children, Marilyn(Gary) Cupples of Kansas City, Missouri, Gerald (Michelle) Krausz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tom (Kay) Krausz of Chandler, OK, Ron (Linda) Krausz of Belleville, Illinois, Stephen (Candace) Krausz of Columbia, Illinois and Teresa (Russ) Braunseis of Waterloo, Illinois; his sisters, JoAnn Funk of Mascoutah, Illinois and Jeanette Surmeier of Belleville, Illinois; his sister-in-law, Mary Lou Krausz-Richards of Mascoutah, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Paderborn, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left with the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the church with Father James Voelker officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Paderborn, Illinois.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
