Clister Fern Wilson of Millstadt passed away at Columbia Convalescent Center on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 3 days.

Born in Ramer, Tennessee on May 19, 1917, she was the daughter of Robert and Winnie (Kinchen) Jernigan. She married Ambrose Wilson on October 11, 1936 in Haiti, Missouri and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1985.

Mrs. Wilson was a factory worker in the garment industry.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband were a daughter, Billie Jo Jackson; a son, Kenneth Ray Wilson in infancy and three siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Joyce (Bill) Bedsworth of Memphis, Tennessee; her son, Charles Ronnie (Margaret) Wilson of St. Peters, Missouri; nine brothers and sisters; her grandchildren, Terry Jackson of Olatha, Kansas, Mark Jackson of Monroe County, Illinois, Michael Wilson of North Pole, Alaska, Marikka Wilson of Webster Groves, Missouri and Tanner Hickman of Bartlett, Tennessee and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Creason Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to Gateway Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home with Rev. William Kunkle officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt.
