Another Angel is at His side as Clara H Magnuson joined our loving Father on October 15, 2008. Clara was a caring mother with a selfless and unending love for her children, grandchildren, great grand children, companions and friends. She led a simple, but full life and handled the bumps in the road gracefully. She enjoyed dancing, playing the mandolin, bowling, doing word jumbles and crossword puzzles and taking an occasional trip to the casino or visit family. She was a devoted Christian and often prayed for the needs of others. She had a long life and left peacefully, without pain, and on her own terms. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her sister,Vera Bouckeart (St. Louis, MO), brother,Walter Boehne(St Louis, MO), son, Richard Kostecki (Denver, CO) and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Casimer Frank Kostecki, second husband, Warren I Magnuson, daughters, Mary Ann Weaver and Ginny Coleman and son, Lawrence Kostecki.

For those who prefer donations in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Clara Magnusons name to the American Cancer Society.
The family of Clara Magnuson will receive family and friends on Friday, October 24th from 6:00 PM9:00 PM at Southern Funeral Home6322 S. Grand, St Louis, MO 63111. A celebration of Claras life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 11:30 AM at Southern Funeral Home, with a memoriam officiated by Reverend Monsignor John Borcic, St. Mary Magdalen Church. Burial will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
