Catherine Mae Hoffman of Cahokia, Illinois entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Red Bud Nursing Home in Red Bud, Illinois having attained the age of 83 years, 4 months and 8 days.
Born on April 19, 1928, she was the daughter of Oscar Ephriam and Mary Belle, nee Ford, Otts. She was united in marriage to Roy James Hoffman.

Mrs. Hoffman was a nurses aide providing private duty care to her patients, a member of Bethel Fellowhsip Church in Dupo, Illinois and a former volunteer at Teen Challenge.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Oscar and Mary Belle Otts, her children, Roy James Hoffman, Jr. and Roger Hoffman; her brothers, Dan Otts, Luke Otts, Chuck Otts and Earl Otts and her sister, Jean Wasem.

Surviving are her children, Catherine (Arthur) Middleton of DeSoto, Missouri, Kerwin (Mary Ann) Hoffman of Belleville, Illinois, Danny (Brenda) Otts of St. Ann, Missouri, Sharon (Sam) Africano of St. Charles, Missouri and Terry (Betty) Hoffman of St. Louis County, Missouri; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
