Catherine Elizabeth Stevens of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Alexian Brothers Sherbrooke Village in St. Louis, having reached the age of 98 years, 1 month and 13 days. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 9, 1913, she was the daughter of Frank J. and Anna, nee Ottens, Stevens.

Catherine was a secretary for Ralston Purina and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in St. Louis.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her brothers, Bartholomew H. Stevens, Rev. Alois J. Stevens and Raymond J. Stevens; her sister, Marie H. Stevens; her sisters-in-law, Elvera Stevens, Madalyn Stevens; her brothers-in-law, Harold Fuegner and John Rowland.

Surviving are her brother, Harry F. Stevens of St. Louis, Missouri; her sisters, Dolores C. Fuegner of St. Louis, Missouri and Frances A. Rowland of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Catherine donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in St. Louis with Father Brad Modde officiating. Memorials may be made in the form of masses.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
