Catherine Elaine Honkomp, nee Politte, 49, of New Athens, IL, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

Born May 18, 1969, in St. Louis, MO, to Junior and Elaine (Button) Politte.

Catherine was a hair stylist for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Dennis Politte, her sister Pamela Pratt and her granddaughter, Miranda Hazlett.

Surviving Catherine are her children; Timothy (Mandy McLure) Politte of Bonne Terre, MO, Richard (fiance Chelsea Youngman) Politte of Belleville, IL, Dennis (Andi Holmes) Politte of Paris, MO, Nora Hamilton of Poplar Bluff, MO, Amber Green of Annapolis, MO, Megan Green of St Genevieve, MO and Anna (Brandon) Hazlett of Annapolis, MO. Her brother Richard (Sue) Politte of St Louis, MO. Her grandchildren; Carol Hazlett, Ayana Green, Brentley Hazlett, Daniel Green, many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Memorials may be made to Creason Funeral Home to assist with the expenses.
