Carolyn Jo LaRue of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis having attained the age of 67 years, 5 months and 2 days.
Born in Hamilton, Alabama on February 29, 1944, she was the daughter of Lester Lee and Annie Belle, nee Mincy, Nichols. She was united in marriage to Billy LaRue and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. LaRue was a factory worker and a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, Billy were her parents and two brothers, Walter Nichols and Thomas Nichols and a stepson, Dewaine LaRue.

Surviving are her children, Randy (Angie) LaRue, Kimberly LaRue, Tammy (Chris) Austin and Doug LaRue, all of St. Louis; her stepchildren, Michael (Ruth) LaRue of Viburnum, Missouri, Brenda (Jesse) Cook of Missouri and Kathy (Jim) Fowler of St. Louis, Missouri; her sisters, Beatrice (Vernon) Cole of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, Lorene (Jerry) Canoy of Sturdivant, Missouri, Jackie (Al) Horton of Norfolk, West Virginia and Norma Reagan of Steele, Missouri; her grandchildren, Owen LaRue, Jamie LaRue, Goran Austin and Taia Austin; eight stepgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the donors choice.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3000 Park Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
