Carmelita Elizabeth Buss

Carmelita Elizabeth Buss of Valmeyer, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 84 years, 1 month and 23 days.

Born in Belleville, Illinois on November 8, 1934, she was the daughter of Edward and Pauline Frierdich, nee Hermann.

Carmelita was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic faith and an ASC Associate.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter, Jennifer Buss.

Surviving are her son, Jeffrey (Jessica) Buss of Edwardsville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Alexandra Buss with the United States Navy, Mallory Buss, Emily Buss, Dorien Buss, Deacon Buss, all of Edwardsville, Illinois and Ashley (Kyle Edwards) Powell of Greenfield, Illinois and her great-grandchildren, Jude Powell, Atticus Edwards ad Ruby Edwards, all of Greenfield, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, Illinois.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
