Bonnie J. Hines of Waterloo, Illinois passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Swansea Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Swansea having attained the age of 88 years, 8 months and 20 days.
Born on September 20, 1921 in Dillard, Missouri, she was the daughter of John and Alma (Anderson) Helms. She married Arthur Hines on August 9, 1958 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2005.
Mrs. Hines was a waitress and a member of the World Wide Church of God.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband were her brothers, Harold Helms and John Helms and her brother-in-law, Richard Hines.
Surviving are her son, Ricky L. (Lou Ann) Hines of Waterloo, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Eric Hines of St. Libory, Illinois, April (Josh) Hahn of Tilden, Illinois, Mandy (Matthew) Winton of Houston, Texas, Rachel (Patrick) Bradshaw of Houston, Texas, Tiffany Hood of Smithton, Illinois, Eric Hood of St. Louis, Missouri and Michael Roy of High Ridge, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Madison Shaffer, Mackenzie Shaffer, Courtney Roy, Kaidence Hines, Bailey Hahn, Abigail Winton, Josiah Winton and Emily Bradshaw; her sister, Lucille Callahan of Cuba, Missouri; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linda Helms of Steeleville, Missouri, Betty Hines, William (Priscilla) McMillian, Tony (Lala) Hines and Pat (Clifford) Brewer, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
Friends may call at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation and will be received at the funeral home

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Terrence Delaney officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt.
