Betty Lou Friedrich

Betty Lou Friedrich of Columbia, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her home, having attained the age of 85 years, 11 months and 25 days.
Born in Greene County, Arkansas on January 17, 1932, she was the daughter of Dolphe and Audie Shearer, nee Myrick. She was united in marriage to Raymond Friedrich on August 12, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2015.
Betty was a member of the Christian faith and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Raymond Friedrich, her brothers, Junior Shearer, Bobby Shearer, Danny Shearer and her granddaughter, Tracy Carrico.
Surviving are her children, Debby (Steve Glockner) Carrico and Bridget (Robert) Wagner, both of Columbia, Illinois; her grandchildren, Robyn (Kevin) Kuhn, Ginger (Nic) Ritter, all of St. Louis, Missouri, Chris R. (Cari) Wagner, Jonathan (Heather) Wagner and Amanda (Mike Dickerson) Wagner, all of Columbia, Illinois; her great-grandchildren, Adam (Tori) Carrico of St. Louis, Missouri, Remy Kuhn, Charley Ritter, Celia Ritter, Christopher Wagner, Casey Wagner, Kailyn Wagner, Chance Wagner, Camden Wagner and Dylan Robinson, all at home; nieces, nephews and many friends.
All services will be private.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is assisting the family.
