Ben J. Colombo
Colombo, Ben J., 92, of St. Louis on July 15, 2009. Ben was the son of the late Benedetto and Freida (Burkhardt) Colombo. He married the late Violet A Betzel and she preceded him in death after fifty years of marriage.

Mr. Colombo was a mail carrier for 67 years and a WWII veteran of the United States Army.
Ben was also preceded in death by his brother, Angelo; and his sisters, Berniece Holman, Esther Pisani, and Anna Deida.

Ben was the beloved brother of Louise Puricelli,; dearly loved and cherished uncle of Brenda M. Lynch, and Robert (Mary) Toretta, Pual (Lois) Pisani and John Pisani.; the dear special friend of LaVerne Kurtz, great uncle and friend to many.

There will be a gathering of Friends from 1-2 PM on TUE July 21, 2009, at the Southern Funeral Home, 6322 S. Grand. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
