Angela Renae Smith

Angela Renae (Juengel) Smith 49, of Lenzburg, IL, passed away on August 21, 2022 in Columbia, IL. Angela was born in Belleville, IL to Debra (Morris) Eilers and John Juengel, Sr. on October 30, 1972. She is preceded in death by her father, John Juengel, Sr., her late stepfather, Eddie, and her grandfather, Richard.



Angela was a huge hockey fan and loved to gather with her family and friends to watch the St. Louis Blues play. She was a dedicated mother, sister, and grandmother who put her family first, there was nothing she would rather do than play with her grandbabies, Axel and Harleigh Smith.



Left to cherish her memory is her mother and stepfather, Debra (Morris) and Larry Eilers, her grandmother Joan Morris, her children, Samantha Smith, Courtney Smith, and Randy Smith, Jr., her daughter-in-law, Melissa Smith, her brother, John Juengel, Jr., her sister, Heather Myers-Hurst, and her grandchildren, Axel Smith and Harleigh Smith, in addition to many beloved cousins, friends, neighbors, and her coworkers at Eckert’s Country Restaurant.



Per her wishes, Angela will be cremated. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Tilden (next to the post office) in Tilden, IL from 10am-11am, Memorial Service will be held at 11am followed by lunch. Condolences and flowers may be sent directly to members of the family or delivered directly to the church. Hoffen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
