Allen Delbert Westerman

Allen Delbert Westerman, 81, of Swansea, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by loving caregivers at Swansea Health and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday August 22, 2024.  Allen was born on July 15, 1943 in Chester, IL to Harry and Clara Westerman and his parents precede him in death.  Allen had no other living family but was lovingly cared for by Homer Rousan of Cahokia, IL and several other close comrades and friends.  

Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, earning the rank of Specialist and was decorated with with a Marksman (rifle) medal and Good Conduct medal prior to his honorable discharge from service.

He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
