Albert Henry Schaefer

Schaefer, Albert Henry, 84, of Evansville, Illinois, died Saturday, June 3, 2018, in Red Bud, Illinois. Albert was born on December 14, 1933, at Foster Pond, the son od Jacob Henry, and Frances Cecelia, nee Eschmann, Schaefer.

Mr. Schaefer was a contractor and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Ellis Grove, IL.

Albert married the love of his life, Joyce Bergmann, on July 4, 1960, in Prairie Du Rocher, IL.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry, Clarence, and William Schaefer; sisters, Gertrude Paulter, Frances Rahn, Josephine Smith, and Theresa Schaefer, in infancy; son-in-law, Gerald Guebert; brothers-in-law, Leo Paulter, Donald Hess, and Victor Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Albert to the Parkinsons Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at St Mary of Divine Maternity, Ellis Grove, IL. Father Larry Lemay will be officiating.

A celebration of Life will follow immediately after in the churchs Parish Center.
