Robert Eugene Brevard of St. Louis passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Delmar Gardens On The Green in Chesterfield, Missouri having attained the age of 85 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Born on September 13, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Claude D. and Emma (Pfinninger) Brevard. He was united in marriage to Wilma Munton on May 31, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Brevard was an auto wholesaler and a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, John, Barney and Edgar and two sisters, Alma and Sue.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Wilma of St. Louis; his son, Mark (Jennifer) Brevard of St. Louis; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors conducted at the graveside.
