Del Irene Swafford

Del Irene Swafford, 70, of Belleville, Illinois passed away at Belleville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 3, 2019.

Born on July 26, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John and Irene Swafford, Nee, Randolf.

Del was preceded in death by her parents, the fathers of her daughters, Fred Kimble and Jim Dent; her sister Sue Swafford and her grand-daughter, Whitney Swopes.

Surviving are her daughters, Angela (Justin) Walker of Belleville, Illinois and Jamie (Dent) Koch of Poplar Bluff. A brother, Gene (Patty) Swafford of Mt. Olive, Illinois; her grandchildren, Emily Walker, Ruby and Kaylee. Nieces, Shannon and Amanda Watson of Decatur, Illinois, Jackie Simpson of St. Louis, Missouri and Kim Watson-Hunter of Caseyville, Illinois and nephew, Tom Curtis of St. Louis, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at a memorial service to be held at Damascus Road Fellowship, 1485 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, Illinois 62223, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The family will host a luncheon immediately following.
